The present invention relates to a Pediococcus pentosaceus KA94 comprising an excellent bioconversion activity of arginine into ornithine, and to a low-cost high-efficiency bioprocess method which can increase the productivity of ornithine using the same. In other words, the present invention relates to the strain; and a complex culture medium, minimum culture medium composition, and culture medium condition used in the efficient bioprocess method using the strain.
