The present invention relates to a variable pinhole type collimator applied to a radiation imaging apparatus. The variable pinhole type collimator according to the present invention includes: a pinhole forming module including a plurality of apertures stacked in the direction in which radiation is irradiated, the apertures forming passage areas through which the radiation passes, respectively; a plurality of driving modules that independently change the passage areas of the respective apertures; and a collimating control unit for controlling the driving modules to independently change the passage areas of the apertures and cause the pinhole forming module to form a pinhole through which the radiation passes. Therefore, it is possible to change the pinhole shape, thus making it possible to achieve various types of pinhole collimators.
