HERBAL EXTRACT FOR HAVING AN ANTIBACTERIAL AND ANTIBIOFILM EFFECT ON ORAL PATHOGEN

The present invention relates to a natural extract having antibacterial and antibiofilm activities on an oral pathogen separated from a natural material. More specifically, the natural extract simultaneously exhibits a growth control activity on Streptococcus mutans, and a formation control activity on glucosyltransferase having a biofilm formation activity from among enzymes which generate polysaccharides. Accordingly, a medical product which includes the same as an active ingredient can simultaneously prevent and treat dental caries and dental diseases.
