Recombinant RSV antigens

Abstract The invention relates to a recombinant respiratory syncytial virus (RSV) antigen comprising an RSV F protein polypeptide whereby the F protein polypeptide (without a transmembrane domain) comprises an F2 domain and an F1 domain. The F protein polypeptide further comprises at least one modification that alters glycosylation comprising a substitution of one or more amino acids. The invention also provides for immunogenic compositions and methods of producing and using the antigens in the treatment of RSV infections and/or disease.
