The instrument (1) has a shaft (2) which is mounted so as to be rotatable about longitudinal axis (5) of the shaft with respect to the handle (3). A locking mechanism (6) is adapted to secure the shaft in various positions of rotation relative to the handle. The locking mechanism is designed as a latching mechanism which has perforated disc with recesses, and latching elements. The latching elements and/or the perforated disc are spring-loaded relative to each other, and one of the latching elements engages in a corresponding recess of the perforated disc in order to secure the shaft. |
