<p>Gelling nasal preparation comprises: 0.5-4 wt.% of mineral salt with at least 70 wt.% sodium chloride as main active agent; 56.5-84.5 wt.% of water; 6-20 wt.% of one or more alcohol e.g. ethylene glycol; 6-20 wt.% of one or more poloxamer surfactant; and 0-5 wt.% of additives comprising essential oils, water-soluble vitamins, enzymes, proteins and zinc salt, further pH-regulators, preservatives and/or consistency agents, where the gelling nasal preparation becomes liquid in room temperature, which can be drippable or sprayable. Gelling nasal preparation comprises: 0.5-4 wt.% of mineral salt with at least 70 wt.% sodium chloride as main active agent, preferably sodium chloride, rock salt or sea salt of different origin; 56.5-84.5 wt.% of water; 6-20 wt.% of one or more alcohol, preferably ethylene glycol, propylene glycol and/or glycerol; 6-20 wt.% of one or more poloxamer surfactant (polyoxyethylene-polyoxypropylene-block polymer) with an average molecular weight of 1800-18000 g/mole; and 0-5 wt.% of additives comprising essential oils, water-soluble vitamins, enzymes, proteins and zinc salt, further pH-regulators, preservatives and/or consistency agents, where the weight ratio of the poloxamer and alcohol is 1.3:1-1:1 and the gelling nasal preparation becomes liquid in room temperature, which can be drippable or sprayable.
