The present invention provides an anode active material for a lithium secondary battery comprising core particles and at least part of the lithium carbonate particles stuck on the surface of the core particles, wherein the core particles are at least one selected from the crystalline spherical natural graphite particles, composite particles including crystalline spherical natural graphite and a coating layer coated with amorphous carbon on the surface of the crystalline spherical natural graphite; a manufacturing method thereof; and an anode and a lithium secondary battery including the same.
