The present invention relates to a method for determining the 3D location of an object identified from a single image as a method applicable to various remote sensing single images such as aerial images or satellite images, in which exterior orientation parameters exist or exterior orientation parameters do not exist or are not known. According to the present invention, rational polynomial coefficients (RPCs) of a remote sensing image can be calculated by extracting a ground reference point from a 3D satellite image based on an accurate rational polynomial camera (RPC) model, and 3D location coordinates of an object identified from the remote sensing image can be calculated by using a multiple image RPC model consisting of the remote sensing single image and the RPC model-based 3D satellite image. |
