Provided is a method for processing a packet in a wireless communication system. A sender PDCP layer receives a packet from an upper layer. The sender PDCP layer performs the header compression for the packet to generate a compressed packet. The sender PDCP layer determines disposal conditions of the compressed packet based on the type of the compressed packet. The sender PDCP layer transfers the compressed packet to a lower layer. If the compressed packet satisfies the disposal conditions, the sender PDCP layer instructs the disposal of the compressed packet to the lower layer. |
