<p>The invention relates to a lens system (1) having adjustable refraction strength and having an optical axis (12). The aim of the invention is to provide a lens system having adjustable refraction strength and having rigid lens bodies, which can function without translational motion sequences, and thus without the space requirement needed therefor. Said aim is achieved by means of a lens system, comprising at least two lens bodies (2, 3) that are rotatable relative to one another around an axis of rotation, wherein the axis of rotation coincides with the optical axis of the lens system and the lens bodies. Each lens body comprises a lens surface having a spiral-like curvature profile (6, 7), having a refraction strength, which, depending on the angle (angle alpha), is steadily increasing or decreasing around the axis of rotation, and each comprising at least one refraction strength level at a respective zero angle (alpha = 0⁰). The zero angles of the lens surfaces divide the joint cross-sectional surfaces of the lens system resulting therefrom into at least two sectors and combine the refraction strengths of the lens bodies per sector into a unified refraction strength of the lens system. The lens system further comprises a means for shading the gradients in the lens surface.</p> |
