<p>The apparatus (10) has a tobacco cake (12) which is provided circumferentially around a drum axis (1) drivable with a knife drum (13). The knife drum is associated with a separating blade (14) whose cutting edge portion (15) is extended by the circumference of the knife drum. The drum axis of the knife drum is plane parallel to the cutting edge for adjusting the angle of the blade drum, so that cutting edge portion of each separating blade is adjustable. An independent claim is included for method for cutting tobacco.</p> |
