One aspect of the invention provides an apparatus (10) for collecting traffic cones (12) from a surface (16) to a vehicle (14), or dispensing traffic cones onto the surface from the vehicle. The apparatus comprises a conveyor (18) disposed in use between the vehicle and the surface for transferring cones therebetween. The apparatus further includes means (22) for actuating the conveyor in a transverse direction substantially perpendicular with the direction of movement of the vehicle during use. This allows the apparatus to lift and lay cone tapers. |
