The present invention relates to a method for arranging icons on a screen of a device and a supporting apparatus thereof. A first device receives information on a layout of a plurality of icons corresponding to a plurality of applications displayed on a screen of a second device, from the second device and displays the icons corresponding to the applications on the screen of the first device using the received information on the layout.
