Polymer-bound anti static additives and antistatically equipped elastomers and elastomer components

Polymer bound additives for antistatic treatment of elastomers, comprises unsaturated polyesters and/or end-functionalized rubbers. Independent claims are also included for: (1) an antistatic elastomer or elastomer composition comprising elastomer matrix made of at least one elastomer and/or at least one rubber, where at least one polymer-based antistatic additive is homogeneously introduced in the elastomer matrix and is covalently bound; and (2) producing the permanent antistatic elastomers or its components comprising homogeneously distributing the polymeric antistatic additive in the elastomer or elastomer mixture, and reactively coupling the components by vulcanization to form covalent bonds between the elastomer matrix and polymeric antistatic additive.
