<p>The straightener (1) has two arms (2) movable relative to each other. Smoothing plates (3) i.e. jaws, are arranged at the respective arms. One of the plates is heatable. Silicone strips (5) are arranged at the arms and parallel to the smoothing plates. The strips apply a certain tensile force on hairs during smoothing the hairs. The strips are electrically conductively designed in area by area, and connected with an electrical ground connection (7) by a grounding device (6). The strips contain an electrically conductively additive such as carbon e.g. graphite, graphene, and carbon nanotube.</p> |
