The present invention provides a pitavastatin intermediate crystalline form, a method for producing the same, and a method for producing a pitavastatin hemicalcium salt using the same. The pitavastatin intermediate crystalline form of the present invention can be produced to have high yield and high purity through a simple process, and a pitavastatin hemicalcium salt having ultrahigh purity of 99.9% or more can be produced in high yield using the same.
