Method for controlling voice communications in the absence of an IMS core network, and associated interoperation agent

The method involves using a communication identifier associated to a radio communication equipment (UE) and determining radio networks (R1, R2) to which the equipment is connected, by using an interoperation agent (AI) when a remote communication equipment (T) establishes a voice communication with the equipment (UE). Communication is established with the agent to provide a communication identifier of the equipment (UE) so as to establish communication with the equipment (T) and interconnection between the equipments when the equipment (UE) establishes communication with the equipment (T). An independent claim is also included for a network equipment for an Internet protocol radio network, comprising an interoperation agent for a radio network possessing a core supporting an Internet protocol.
