The present invention relates to a method and an apparatus for sharing functions of M2M devices based on a gateway which can be easily associated with conventional services to expand services and support the development of a variety of new services by collecting shareable function information about a plurality of devices which are associated with the same local gateway, processing an input signal defined by a user to calculate new data, and performing a new function to share the functions of the devices.
