The present invention relates to a method and a device for controlling selection of a wireless LAN access point (AP) of a terminal in a wireless communication system, wherein the method for controlling selection of a wireless LAN AP of a terminal of the present invention includes: a setting step of receiving a wireless LAN AP selection procedure application priority list which has priority information of at least one wireless LAN AP selection procedures and setting the procedures; a selection step of selecting a wireless LAN AP selection procedure which performs according to the wireless LAN AP selection procedure priority list when detecting a wireless LAN selection procedure trigger; and a determination step of determining a policy for the wireless LAN AP selection by performing the selected wireless LAN AP selection procedure. In the determination step, a policy determined in the previous wireless LAN AP selection procedure operation step cannot change in a wireless LAN AP selection procedure operation step which is performed afterward.
