<p>The invention relates to an installation for exploiting a natural underwater deposit of fluids, such as crude oil, natural gas or other hydrocarbon-containing fluids, through some bore holes of horizontal axis. According to the invention, the installation comprises a christmas tree (21) consisting of a valve body (25) fixed on a casing head (1') wherein some extraction pipes (27 and 29) are provided, at least one of some extraction control valves (31 and 33) located within the valve body (25), where the first said pipe (27) is arranged coaxially with the axis (AP) of the bore hole cross-section in the immediate vicinity of the surface or the bottom on which the christmas tree (21) is placed, while the second pipe (29) is a branch of the other pipe (27) extending crosswise, at least one of the extraction control valves (31 and 33) being positioned lengthwise on the second pipe (29) and at least one of the extraction control valves (31 and 33) being actuated electrically. The method, as claimed by the invention, consists in securing a platform (50) comprising a floating hull (52) and one or several extensible legs (54) fastened to the hull (52), transporting the christmas tree (1') to a preset assembling location using the platform (50); extending one or several extending legs (54) so as to rest onto the sea bed (SB) or other submerged bed, under the platform (50), lifting the floating hull (52) above the sea level or the level of another water so that the hull (52) is supported by one or several extensible legs (54), moving the christmas tree (1') from the floating hull (52) down to the assembling location on the sea bed (SB) or other submerged bed.</p> |
