The device (1) has a rotatably mounted drum-shaped sieve (3) which is driven via a drive shaft. A drive device (6) is provided for driving the drive shaft. The drive shaft drives a crushing device (2) moreover a rotational element. The sieve is plugged on a freely projecting end of the drive shaft. An electric motor or an internal combustion engine is provided as drive device.
