Ultrasonic flow meter

An ultrasonic fluid flow meter (1) comprising a fluid conduit and a first and a second ultrasonic transducer (17a, 17b) in facing alignment for measuring a fluid flow in the fluid conduit. The fluid conduit comprises a flow channel (19) with a smooth axially extending internal wall profile defining a section of reduced internal cross-sectional area between said first and second ultrasonic transducers (17a, 17b).
