The invention relates to a wiper device (1) for a window (9) of a motor vehicle, the wiper device (1) comprising at least one wiper arm (2) with an arm head (3) moveable by a drive motor and with a retainer element (4) connected with the arm head (3) by a hinge element (5), by means of which the retainer element (4) is moveable from a service position (7) to a use position (8) by means of a spring force (26) pushing a wiper blade (6) onto the window (9). The wiper device (1) comprises a delay component (11), by means of which a counterforce (27) is applied to the retainer element (4), while it is moved from the service position (7) to the use position (8) and by means of which the retainer element (4) is fixable in a position (13) differing from the service position (7) and the use position (8). |
