A method for producing a magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) comprises a step of applying a phase, which simultaneously exciting a plurality of sub-volumes for forming a volume of an object, and first radio frequency (RF) pulses having different frequencies to the object and obtaining first magnetic resonance signals from the sub-volumes; a step of applying second RF pulses which has frequency same as that of the first RF pulses and has one or more different phases with the phase of the first RF pulses to the object and obtaining second magnetic resonance signals from the sub-volumes; and a step of forming image data of the sub-volumes based on the first and second magnetic resonance signals.
