The present invention provides novel lysophospholipid acyltransferases. The object of the present invention is attained by the nucleotide sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 1 and 6 and the amino acid sequences of SEQ ID NOs: 2 and 7 of the present invention.

1. A cDNA or recombinant vector comprising a nucleic acid of any one of (a)-(e) below:
(a) a nucleic acid that comprises a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence with deletion, substitution or addition of one to 50 amino acids in the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 7, and having lysophospholipid acyltransferase activity; (b) a nucleic acid that hybridizes under hybridization conditions of 0.1×SSC-1×SSC at 60° C.-65° C. and washing conditions of 0.2×SSC-2×SSC at 50° C.-68° C. to a nucleic acid consisting of a full length complement to the nucleotide sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO: 6 and that comprises a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein having lysophospholipid acyltransferase activity; (c) a nucleic acid that comprises a nucleotide sequence sharing an identity of 90% or more with the nucleotide sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO: 6 and encoding a protein having lysophospholipid acyltransferase activity; (d) a nucleic acid that comprises a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein consisting of an amino acid sequence sharing an identity of 90% or more with the amino acid sequence consisting of SEQ ID NO: 7 and having lysophospholipid acyltransferase activity; and (e) a nucleic acid that hybridizes under conditions of 0.1×SSC-1×SSC at 60° C.-65° C. and washing conditions of 0.2×SSC-2×SSC at 50° C.-68° C. to a nucleic acid consisting of a full length complement to a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein consisting of the amino acid sequence shown in SEQ ID NO: 7 and that comprises a nucleotide sequence encoding a protein having lysophospholipid acyltransferase activity.
