METHOD FOR RECOMMENDING POINT OF INTEREST USING USER PREFERENCES AND MOVING PATTERNS

The present invention relates to a point of interest (POI) recommendation method, and more specifically, to a POI recommendation method for recommending POI information by considering the moving pattern of a user and the attribute information of the POI. For this, present invention provides a method for serving the POI to a first user using the POI path of second users, the POI stored in a database, and the GPS path of the moving line of the first user, wherein the method includes the steps of: generating the POI path in which the preference of the first user is reflected by connecting the respective points of the POI in which the first user is moved through the GPS path; obtaining the preference of the first user using the generated POI path and filtering the POI path of the second users which have the different preference from the first user using the preference of the first user; confirming similarity between the POI path of the first user and the POI path of the second users obtained by the filtering; and recommending the POI of the second user having the similar POI path with the POI path of the first user according to the similarity confirmation result of the path.
