Disclosed is a circulating fluidized bed boiler capable of controlling the amount of heat recovered from solid particles which are separated from flue gas by a separator. The circulating fluidized bed boiler according to the present invention comprises: a combustion furnace in which fluidized fuel is burned; the separator separating the solid particles from the flue gas after receiving the flue gas and the solid particles from the combustion furnace; and a return system returning the solid particles, which are separated from the flue gas by the separator, to the combustion chamber, wherein the flue gas is generated by the combustion of the fluidized fuel. The return system includes: a heat exchange part for recovering the heat from solid particles supplied from the separator; and a return part returning the solid particles of which heat is lost in the heat exchange part, to the combustion furnace. The circulating fluidized bed boiler according to the present invention further includes a control part controlling the amount of the heat recovered from the solid particles in the heat exchange part. |
