The present invention relates to a liquid crystal display device of a reverse bus line (RBL) structure, and more specifically, to the liquid crystal display device and a driving method thereof, wherein the device is capable of being driven in a form which is the same with a 1 dot inversion method without a polarity change of data voltage outputted from a data driver. The liquid crystal display device of the present invention comprises: a panel where pixels are formed at each intersecting areas of data lines formed in a horizontal direction and gate lines formed in a vertical direction and the pixels of horizontal lines formed in parallel with the data lines are formed between two data lines, further adjacent two pixels among the pixels of the horizontal lines are commonly connected to one gate line; a data driver for outputting data voltages having one polarity to each of the data lines for a predetermined period of time and outputting data voltages having another polarity to adjacent data lines among the data lines; and a gate driver for outputting a scan signal to the gate lines sequentially. |
