The present invention relates to a method to prevent losing a handheld terminal, which comprises the steps of: receiving a text message; checking whether the received text message is a payment message through a credit card; and determining a status of the handheld terminal if the received text message is the payment message. According to the present invention, it is possible to prevent loss of the handheld terminal in advance, and advertisements associated with the loss prevention from being exposed. |
