摘要 It is an object of the present invention to provide a novel organometallic compound functioning usefully as a chain transfer agent and the like in polymerization reaction of a double-bond containing compound. The present invention provides an organometallic compound represented by the following general formula (1) and a production method thereof.;(in the general formula (1), M is a magnesium atom, a zinc atom, an Al—R11 group, or a Ga—R11 group; R1 and R10 are each independently a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or R1 and R10 may be united with each other to form a divalent connecting group (R101) having 4 or more carbon atoms and thus form a ring; R2 to R9 are each independently a hydrogen atom, or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; Q1 and Q3 are each independently a divalent hydrocarbon group; Q2 is a divalent connecting group containing a linkage by a heteroatom excluding carbon; h, j, k, m, and p are each independently 0 or 1; n is an integer of 0 to 10; and r is an integer of 0 to 1000.

An organometallic compound (1) represented by the following general formula (1) (in the general formula (1), M is a magnesium atom, a zinc atom, an Al—R11 group, or a Ga—R11 group, provided that R11 is a hydrogen atom, a hydrocarbon group, a halogen atom, a silicon-containing group, or an oxygen-containing group; R1 and R10 are each independently a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms, or R1 and R10 may be united with each other to form a divalent connecting group (R101) having 4 or more carbon atoms and optionally containing a heteroatom excluding carbon and hydrogen and thus form a ring; R2 to R9 are each independently a hydrogen atom, or a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; Q1 and Q3 are each independently a divalent hydrocarbon group; Q2 is a divalent connecting group containing a linkage by a heteroatom excluding carbon; h, j, k, m, and p are each independently 0 or 1; n is an integer of 0 to 10; and r is an integer of 2 to 10000, provided that: R1 to R11 may be a group formed by substituting a part of the hydrogen atoms of the hydrocarbon group with a substituent containing a heteroatom excluding carbon and hydrogen; Q1 and Q3 may be a group formed by substituting a part of the hydrogen atoms of the divalent hydrocarbon group with a substituent containing a heteroatom excluding carbon and hydrogen; when h is 0, at least one of R2 and R3 is a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms; when h is 1, at least one of R4 and R5 is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; when p is 0, at least one of R8 and R9 is a hydrocarbon group having 2 to 20 carbon atoms; when p is 1, at least one of R6 and R7 is a hydrocarbon group having 1 to 20 carbon atoms; when n is 2 or more, plural Q1, Q2, Q3, j, k, and m may be individually the same as or different from one another; plural M may be the same as or different from one another; when plural R11 are present, they may be the same as or different from one another; and plural Q1, Q2, Q3, h, j, k, m, n, p, and R2 to R9 may be individually the same as or different from one another.
