PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a combustion device free from a risk of supplying hot water of unexpected high temperature even when a set temperature and a hot water supply amount are changed many times in a short time by operating a faucet and the ike by a customer during a slow igniting operation.SOLUTION: A combustion device has a plurality of groups of burners composed of a plurality of burners, and further includes: solenoid valves respectively disposed corresponding to the groups of burners. An opening/closing state of the solenoid valve is switched according to a magnitude of a target combustion amount, and a stage switching control for switching a combustion stage corresponding to a combustion region can be executed. In a case when the solenoid valve is opened in the stage switching control, a slow igniting operation is executed. The slow igniting operation according to the combustion stage corresponding to a new target combustion amount, is executed, when the slow igniting operation executed, the combustion amount is changed to the new target combustion amount, and it is confirmed that the combustion state corresponding to the new target combustion amount is smaller than the combustion stage corresponding to the target combustion amount before the change. |
