PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor drive device, which is able to improve motor drive stability, reduce pulsation of motor current, and improve drive efficiency.SOLUTION: In a motor drive device, the reverse voltages (Eα, E&bgr;) of fixed coordinate α&bgr; systems are converted into the reverse voltages (Ed, Eq) of rotation coordinate dq systems based on a magnetic pole electrical angel &thetas; fed back. Based on the reverse voltages (Ed, Eq), an amount &Dgr;&phgr; of magnetic pole phase deviation correction is calculated. Additionally, based on at least motor phase voltage information of information about a motor phase voltage and motor phase current, a rotating speed ω and its integrated value ∫ωdt are calculated. The sum of the amount &Dgr;&phgr; of magnetic pole phase deviation correction and the integrated value ∫ωdt are output as a magnetic pole electrical angel &thetas;. Then, based on the difference between the rotating speed ω and the target rotating speed ωi and also based on the magnetic pole electrical angel &thetas;, a sine wave drive command is generated. Based on the sine wave drive command, a plurality of switching elements of an inverter are PWM driven. |
