The present invention relates to a three-dimensional fluid simulation apparatus and method for simulating the drainage performance of a road, which analyzes the road drainage section by three-dimensional modeling, visualizes the road drainage section, and reflects the road drainage section in road design, in order to simulate the drainage performance of a road surface drainage section, a slope drainage section, and a traverse drainage section that are the road drainage section during localized heavy rain. The three-dimensional fluid simulation apparatus includes: a road data storage unit (40) for storing three-dimensional structure data relative to the road; a terrain data storage unit (42) for storing three-dimensional terrain data relative to the road; an input device (35) for setting a range of drainage section selection and simulation; a microprocessor (30) for extracting, from the road data storage unit (40) and the terrain data storage unit (42), the three-dimensional structure data and the three-dimensional terrain data relative to a drainage section selected by the input device (35); a data memory (34) for temporarily storing the three-dimensional structure data and the three-dimensional terrain data relative to the drainage section extracted from the microprocessor (30); a three-dimensional modeling processor (38) for generating and synthesizing a three-dimensional modeling object, based on the three-dimensional structure data and the three-dimensional terrain data relative to the drainage section stored in the data memory (34), and visualizing the simulation results through a three-dimensional fluid analysis within the set simulation range; a video memory (36) for storing simulation result video data analyzed and visualized by the three-dimensional modeling processor (38); and a video output device (32) for outputting a video stored in the video memory (36). |
