PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a calculation amount in the case of performing sensorless control in an electric power steering device which performs drive control of a motor in a plurality of drive systems.SOLUTION: An electric angle estimation section 110 has: an α-axis voltage component addition section 115 and a &bgr;-axis voltage component addition section 116 which add voltage vectors of a 2-phase fixed coordinate system of a first coil and a second coil; an α-axis current component addition section 117 and a &bgr;-axis current component addition section 118 which add current vectors of the 2-phase fixed coordinate system; and an induction voltage calculation section 119 which calculates an induction voltage E on the basis of the added voltage vector and current vector.
