PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a laser welding jig capable of achieving improvement in welding quality, by enabling a wide welding area between a welding component and a welding base material to be secured even using a small-sized laser welder, and also by effectively assisting welding using assist gas of small quantity.SOLUTION: A laser welding jig 1 includes: a jig body 2 for pressing the welding component (a connection tab 12) to the welding base material (an electrode terminal 15) and positioning the welding component with respect to the welding base material; and a welding through-hole 5 which is formed in the jig body 2 so as to penetrate it and can irradiate welding parts of the welding component and of the welding base material with laser beam L, the welding through-hole 5 being formed in a tapered hole shape becoming large in an inner diameter toward the opening part 5b side on which the laser beam L is incident from the opening part 5a side contacting with the welding component. The laser welding jig 1 further includes an assist gas supply passage 6 which is formed in the jig body 2 in a penetrating manner so as to communicate with the welding through-hole 5 from an outer peripheral part of the jig body 2, and this assist gas supply passage 6 is formed so as to supply assist gas G toward the bottom part side of the welding through-hole 5. |
