PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an earthen pot for an IH cooker which is enabled to perform a proper heating not only by a conventional IH cooker much restricted by the kind of a corresponding pot but also by an IH cooker matching all metals.SOLUTION: An earthen pot for an IH cooker comprises: an earthen pot body 1 made of a porcelain; and a heating plate 5 mounted on the inner bottom face 10a of the earthen pot body 1 and enabled to heat the earthen pot body 1 by a heating coil 92 of an IH cooker 90. The heating plate 5 includes first heating portions 7 and 9 containing a magnetic material such as cast iron; and a second heating portion 8 integrated with the first heating portions 7 and 9 while separating the first heating portions 7 and 9 in a direction to intersect the circumferential direction of the heating coil, and containing a magnetic shunt alloy. |
