An air conditioner according to the present invention comprises: a compressor compressing a refrigerant gas at high temperature and high pressure and discharging the refrigerant gas; a condenser condensing the refrigerant, which is compressed by the compressor, into a liquid; an expansion valve expanding the high-temperature and high-pressure liquid refrigerant, which is condensed by the condenser, into a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid refrigerant; and an evaporator evaporating the refrigerant expanded by the expansion valve, obtaining a refrigeration effect by heat exchange with a cooling target object using the evaporative latent heat of the refrigerant, and returning a low-temperature and low-pressure evaporated refrigerant gas to the compressor, and further includes a compressor overheating prevention part arranged to allow the partial refrigerant bypassing a pipe returning from the evaporator to the compressor to pass through the outer circumferential surface of the compressor. According to the present invention, the temperature rise rates of the compressor and the discharge refrigerant of the compressor can be reduced, and deterioration in the reliability of the compressor and deterioration in the service life of the component of the compressor can be prevented. |
