PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metal mold for molding a tire, in which occurrence of bare defects in a bead part can be suppressed satisfactorily even when a pneumatic tire having a small-sized bead filler is produced, and the pneumatic tire exhibiting excellent adhesiveness to a rim can also be produced.SOLUTION: The metal mold for molding the tire includes a bead part molding plane for molding the bead part of the tire. The bead part molding plane includes a convex stripe molding part having a concave groove extending toward the radial direction of the metal mold. The convex stripe molding part is formed in a flange contact part molding region, which is positioned between a bead heel of the tire and a rim line position on the bead part molding plane and used for molding a rim flange contact part, and includes a vent hole to be opened to the convex stripe molding part, and a stop valve for opening/closing the vent hole. The stop valve is always pressed to a valve opening direction and shuts the vent hole when receiving power to be exerted onto the outside of the metal mold from the inside of the metal mold. |
