The present invention relates to a windbreak device for a window frame, wherein the windbreak device comprises a cylindrical sack-type windbreak cushion block (20) for an upper window, a windbreak member (10), a windbreak collar (30), and a lug plank (12). At an overlap part between an inner and an outer sliding window between top rails, the windbreak cushion block (20) made of selected one of nonwoven fabric or latex is compressively assembled to be fit to the windbreak member (10) so that airtightness can be improved. At an overlap part between the inner and the outer sliding window between bottom rails, the soft resin-made windbreak collar (30) is compressively assembled to improve water resistance and airtightness against freezing. In addition, the windbreak members (10) can be easily constructed and maintained by being externally installed at the tops and the bottoms of the installed inner and outer sliding windows by assembly screws (3) without the separation of the installed inner and outer sliding windows while the lug planks (12) integrally formed on the windbreak members are compressively fit into the slits (20a) of the windbreak cushion blocks (20). Furthermore, the sliding windows being opened or closed slide on the bottoms of the top and the bottom rails without the separation of the windbreak cushion blocks, thereby collecting dust and the other contaminants on one side conveniently. |
