PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agglomerating method of pulverized coal capable of continuously and stably producing agglomerated coal with good quality.SOLUTION: A kneaded product being obtained by kneading pulverized coal added with a binder and having a grain size of 2.8 mm or more of 20 mass% or more and 40 mass% or less and of less than 0.6 mm of 50 mass% or more and 70 mass% or less is transported by a transporting means 11. The transportation of the kneaded product by the transporting means 11 is performed in a direction orthogonal to the shaft direction of rotating rolls 15, 16 in plan view when agglomerating the kneaded product by supplying between a pair of the rotating rolls 15, 16 having a gap 14 and being arranged in parallel.
