PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically detect a shared disk and reduce problems such as setting errors, in a computer system including the shared disk.SOLUTION: A detection instruction unit 131 of a management computer 101 instructs a server computer 102 within node list information 141 to perform a detection operation for a shared disk. A shared disk detection unit 161 of a plurality of server computers 102 including a disk management table 183 storing a result of the detection operation writes a unique symbol to each shared disk according to the instruction by the detection instruction unit 131, reads the written unique symbol from each shared disk, and stored it in the disk management table 183. Each of the plurality of server computers 102 transmits the stored content to the management computer 101, and the management computer 101 stores the content of the disk management table 183 in a disk management master table 145 for each unique symbol. |
