PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vibration control structure enabling a vibration control effect to be acquired without restricting a building plan of an upper story portion and having a high degree of freedom of a plan.SOLUTION: In a vibration control structure 1: an upper structure 3 having a rigid frame structure is provided on a substructure 2; the horizontal rigidity of a low story portion 4 of the upper structure 3 is lower than the horizontal rigidity of an upper story portion 5 of the upper structure 3; and a vibration control device 7 is installed in the low story portion 4. A rigid structure portion 6 fixed to the substructure 2 and positioned inside a horizontal structural plane of the upper structure 3 in a planar view is provided inside the low story portion 4, and the rigid structure portion 6 and the upper story portion 5 are connected with each other via the vibration control device 7. |
