PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To shorten a time required since a contact operation with an operation surface is started until processing corresponding to the contact operation is executed with simple configurations.SOLUTION: A detection part 12 detects a contact with an operation surface, and outputs contact position information indicating a contact position on the operation surface. A prediction part 14 predicts the contact operation on the basis of the number of the contact positions to be specified from the contact position information output from the detection part 12 before the contact operation with the operation surface is specified from the time series of the contact positions indicated by the contact position information output from the detection part 12. An execution part 16 executes processing corresponding to the contact operation predicted by the prediction part 14.
