PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a walking guidance system for people with visual impairment, a walking guidance method for people with visual impairment, a server and a computer program that is executable on the server with which audio guidance that helps people with visual impairment with their smooth travel by foot can be provided with the workload of guide helpers reduced and the accuracy of guidance maintained.SOLUTION: A server receives image data from a client terminal and also receives input of walking support information in audio form that is for the person with visual impairment associated with the received image data. The server receives information on a start position and an arrival position from the client terminal, identifies a walking position according to the image data, and stores the received image data and the audio data whose input has been received as walking support information, in association with the information on the start and arrival positions and the identified walking position. The walking position is identified according to the received image data, and audio data associated with the identified walking position is sent to the client terminal. |
