<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide chopsticks that allow a user not to feel discomfort when his/her mouth touches the tips of the chopsticks and facilitate picking up food.SOLUTION: Chopsticks 1 includes a pair of chopstick pieces 2, 2. In each chopstick piece 2, a grip part 3 has a nearly square shape cross-section, and the tip 4 of the chopstick has a nearly square shape cross-section. The nearly square shape cross-section of the grip part 3 and the nearly square shape cross-section of the tip 4 of the chopstick have position relation where they mutually make an angle around the axis of the chopstick piece 2. Each chopstick piece 2 has a protection layer 6 at the distal end of the tip 4 of the chopstick, and has a coating layer 5 with a smooth front surface at the tip 4 of the chopstick so as to cover the protection layer 6.</p> |
