PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To display a stereoscopic image at multi-viewpoint, and suppress occurrence of crosstalk.SOLUTION: A stereoscopic image display device includes: an LED display device (20) in which LED modules (M) are arranged in a matrix form; a shutter device (30) in which liquid crystal cells (SL) functioning as shutters capable of switching between a transmission state and a light-shielding state are arranged in a matrix form; and a control section (10) synchronously driving the LED display device (20) and the shutter device (30). A shutter pitch (SP) of the liquid crystal cell (SL) is smaller than a pixel pitch (PP) of the LED module (M) in at least one direction out of directions in which the LED module (M) and the liquid crystal cell (SL) are arranged, and the control section (10) drives the shutter device (30) at a switching frequency larger than a light emission frequency of the LED display device (20).
