<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform appropriate color management while reducing the number of color patches in performing color printing in an image forming apparatus including an inline sensor.SOLUTION: A control device controls an image forming apparatus that includes an inline sensor located on the subsequent stage of a print processing unit printing an image on a sheet so as to measure color information on the image, and includes: a data analyzing unit that extracts color information included in an image that is arranged after a predetermined page by the number of pages printed at least during a time period from when the print processing unit prints an image on a sheet until when the inline sensor measures color information on the image; a color patch creating unit that creates a color patch corresponding to the color information included in the image on the subsequent page, and arranges the created color patch on the predetermined page; and a control unit that transmits, to the image forming apparatus, image data of the predetermined page on which the color patch is arranged to instruct printing and measurement of the color information.</p> |
