<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article conveyance apparatus which has relatively simple configuration, and can safely convey an article to be conveyed, while achieving energy saving.SOLUTION: An article conveyance apparatus 1 includes first, second, and third conveyors 10, 20, and 30 that linearly convey a workpiece M, and a swiveling and lifting device 50 that swivels, raises, or lowers the second conveyor 20. The first conveyor 10 and third conveyor 30 are disposed with the conveying directions thereof (direction of arrows A and B) differentiated from each other and the conveying heights thereof differentiated from each other. When receiving the workpiece M from the first conveyor 10, the second conveyor 20 matches the conveying direction and conveying height thereof with those of the first conveyor 10. When transferring the received workpiece M to the third conveyor 30, the second conveyor 20 matches the conveying direction and conveying height thereof with those of the third conveyor 30. The swiveling and lifting device 50 includes a counterweight 60 that applies an upward load to the second conveyor. The article conveyance apparatus 1 further includes a stopper mechanism 70 that when the second conveyor 20 swivels, impedes erroneous charge of the next workpiece M from the first conveyor 10 to the second conveyor 20.</p> |
