PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light receiving module capable of easily packaging an optical demultiplexer and accurately performing alignment of the optical demultiplexer with a simple configuration, and to provide a manufacturing method of the light receiving module.SOLUTION: A light receiving module 10 receives a plurality of wavelength-multiplexed signal light beams with mutually different wavelengths and an optical demultiplexer packaged on a support post 16 installed on a bottom wall 14a of a housing 14 of a package part 12 demultiplexes the received signal beams into respective signal light beams and converts the signal light beams into electric signals. The optical demultiplexer 15 is formed of an optical thin film filter using a plurality of dielectric multilayer films for transmitting light with a predetermined wavelength and reflecting light with the other wavelength, a packaging surface 30 with a concave shape for changing a tilt angle by horizontal movement of the optical demultiplexer 13 is formed on an upper part of the support post 16 and a bottom surface of the optical demultiplexer 15 is adhesively fixed in contact with the packaging surface.
