PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely prevent corotation of a boot during rotation of a shaft portion by preventing intrusion of foreign matters into a housing, in the rack housing of a rack pinion type steering device.SOLUTION: A boot includes: a first mounting portion 15b fixed to an outer peripheral face of a cylindrical housing 11 in a hermetically sealed manner; a second mounting portion 15c fixed to an outer peripheral face of a rod-shaped shaft portion 14a tiltably connected to the cylindrical housing 11 in a hermetically sealed manner; and a bellows-shaped bellows portion 15a connecting the first mounting portion 15b to the second mounting portion 15c, and covering a space between the housing 11 and the shaft portion 14a. An inner peripheral face of the second mounting portion 15c is constituted of a first conical inclined face 15d opened toward a side opposite to the shaft portion 14a, and a second flat face, a dimple-shaped recessed portion is formed on the inner peripheral face, and lubrication grease is filled in the inner peripheral faces of the first conical inclined face 15d and the second flat face. |
